Why People Migrated There?
The connecticut colony had a great amount of trade. Many people wanted to come to the colony because the economy was so well off. Connecticut traded fish, timber, furs, ships and livestock.
Religion:
There was no religious freedom in the areas inhabited by the Puritansas they did not tolerate any other form of religion – refer to Religion in the Colonies

Government: In 1775 Connecticut was governed as a Charter Colony.
